As part of the Welsh Hospital Electronic Prescribing, Pharmacy & Medicines Administration (WHEPPMA) programme, the aim of this project is to implement a replacement Welsh Pharmacy and Medicines Management System for secondary care across Wales. Hospital Pharmacies will now be working from a national core system and will have a national drug file which will be managed by the Hospital Pharmacy central team at DHCW; this will replace the legacy hospital pharmacy system which currently exists. The Welsh Pharmacy and Medicines Management system will be supplied by WellSky (formerly known as JAC).
